I started writing my own firmware, from scratch, for the Malenki. I want to use them with a HK-T6A V2 transmitter, which uses the AFHDS protocol not the AFHDS 2A protocol the Malenki uses. Despite the similar name, they are entirely not compatible at the firmware level. (But, fortunately, use the same radio hardware.)
It wouldn’t seem like much to most people, but I got the radio initialized and can receive packets on channel 0! (which is where the BIND packet is transmitted in AFHDS) The next step will be trying to understand the frequency hopping, because each successive packet is transmitted on a different frequency, but in a particular order. If you don’t follow the order, you’ll miss a lot of packets.
