I bottled a carboy of wine yesterday. I buy a few 5 gallon buckets of fresh juice each fall. Last fall’s juice is ready to bottle now.
I washed my bottles well months ago, but still gave them a quick rinse.

and spray some metabisulphite in to sanitize.

I racked the wine to a clean (sanitized) carboy to get it off the sediment. This is where I could have also used a filter, but I was lazy.

The filler with a valve on the end is the best invention for filling bottles.

Floor corkers are the best way to insert corks.

I ended up with 27 bottles of Cabernet Sauvignon. I still have some Trebbiano and Black Malvasia to bottle soon.
